The American Stage, St. Petersburg's professional theater, offers a live production of a William Shakespeare work in a beautiful outdoor setting. Celebrating its 18th season, performances run Wednesday through Sunday on the waterfront at Demens Landing in downtown. Blanket seats are $7 on Wed., Thurs., and Sunday nights and $10 on Friday and Saturday nights. Reserved chairs are $22 on all nights. For more information, call 727-823-7529. Friday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday noon to 10 p.m. Sunday noon p.m.-7 p.m. Admission to the park is free on Friday and $3 per adult on Saturday and Sunday.
